Detailed program
Day 1
After meeting at the airport or railway station, we will go with you to Bolshoy Goloustnoye, the road to which passes along the picturesque Goloustnensky tract. We will stay in Maly Goloustny to get acquainted with the charming malamutes and ride a dog sled through the Siberian forests. After tea drinking, visiting the winter hut, we will go to Lake Baikal to admire the methane bubbles. We will tell you in more detail about the types of Baikal ice, and you will have the opportunity to take thousands of beautiful shots of winter Baikal nature. It is also possible to skate around the largest natural ice rink.
For lunch, we will taste Buryat buuzes, Siberian salads and delicious taiga tea. Then we will admire the hummocks, which every year in different places form on Lake Baikal and walk to Dry Lake, where the Male and Female stones are located. You will learn instructive traditions and Buryat traditions. On the way to Irkutsk, we will stop at the Buddhist datsan.
Night in Irkutsk
Day 2
Today we will go to the village of Ust-Orda, where there is a museum of local lore with a unique exposition dedicated to the history and traditions of local residents. You will learn about the development of the Baikal region, about the origin and current state of shamanism, the system of totem animals, clan customs. You will also meet a shaman. Then you will visit (optionally) the local datsan, where astrologers regularly conduct llama receptions.
For lunch, you will taste the Baikal delicacy saguidai - fresh fish with onions, the national soup buchler, which will be prepared from only 2-3 ingredients according to local traditions. Then you will learn how the locals amuse the spirits here, enjoy the landscapes of the Tazheran steppes on the way to Lake Baikal and by evening you will arrive in the village of Khuzhir on Olkhon Island.
After checking into the hotel, you will relax and go for a walk to Cape Burkhan, where you will meet the sunset overlooking the sacred Shamanka rock.
In the evening we will hold a master class in which you will make your own amulet of strength and put your intention in it .
Day 3
Today you will go for excursion to the northernmost point of Olkhon Island - Cape Khoboy. Here is a unique rock in the form of a female figure, which is a reminder of the need for eternal human values - virtue and generosity. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire winter Lake Baikal in the most picturesque places - Cape Kharantsy, Three Brothers and other numerous islands of the Small Sea.
A picnic lunch on ice will complete the picture of a trip to the snow-white kingdom.
In the evening you will find a game with old Mongolian motifs, which will allow you to touch the magic of ancient healers and summarize your trip to Baikal.
Day 4
The southern part of Olkhon Island is also rich in ice treasures of Lake Baikal. You'll visit the famous island of Ogoy, home to the Buddhist Enlightenment Stupa that grants Liberation through Vision. Walking around it has already become an integral element - the ritual of tours around Lake Baikal. Numerous relics are laid in Stupa, a bronze figurine of the mother of all Buddhas.
The island itself from a height in shape resembles a dakin, a heavenly dancer, and on the end side it is crowned by Cape Dragon, mystically and majestically towering above the ice surface of the lake.
The famous bubbles in the ice can be seen on the lakes Nura and Yalga.
After the excursion - departure back to Irkutsk.
Day 5
Transfer to the airport. And before new meetings on Lake Baikal!
